Animating a still for a slide show
This is an idea created by Stephen L Noe for Liquid Edition - which has more features
available than Studio can offer, and in particular (as far as this effect is concerned)
it allows keyframing for overlaid effects. Nevertheless the effect Stephen created
can be achieved in Studio very effectively, and so to get the ball rolling with these
'video tutorials' I have rather blatantly adapted his idea to suit Studio's current
way of working. I say current - because who knows what goodies may come along in
the future in the way of plug-ins and so on.
It is possible to force Studio 9 into 'keyframes', by splitting a clip at each point
a keyframe is required, and making the necessary changes at that point to the plug-in
being used. Studio 11 incorporates straight-line keyframing, making pans and zooms
easier. You can watch the video by playing it back here-
